  • 3g 4g wifi mobile phone signal jammer - Synology 2600 Router constantly losing wireless signal across multiple devices - [Solved]

Hi everyone - I own a Synology 2600 router and the folks over at Synology aren’t the most helpful bunch I’ve ran into, so I thought I would come to this community because I’ve received a ton of advice here in the past by reading through other peoples posts. My modem is a Motorola SB8600 using Comcast’s 1gbps connection. The connection is solid, my local settings are correct, my ipv4 and ipv6 connections are correct, all of the settings seem like they are configured properly. I have tried every combination I can think of in the router GUI to get a signal forced out to wireless devices, but the router will only connect to wireless devices around 30-40% of the time. Wireless devices can always connect to the router, but they DO NOT GET SERVICE - it is like it is a dead connection. My daughter has a new HP laptop (I can get the model but am currently at work) that seems to not lose connection as often as everyone else but still doesn’t connect 100%. It is a 250 dollar cheap throw away laptop, meanwhile the i7 laptop I have that was literally purchased last week for 1300 can only connect around 30-40% of the time. All android devices connect around the same rate, older laptop can’t even see the router, nor can a Kindle Fire. I have a PC that has a direct line into the router and while I have lost connection on it, it has at least 90% uptime. All of the laptop’s are using Intel NIC’s, as does my PC hardwired into the Router. This has been ongoing for a month. My wife is about to kill me. I really need help. I also really like the Synology router - for the money it can not be beat. There are a ton of configuration options as well as NAS options you can use, but I haven’t even been playing with any of them because I have been focused on dealing with connectivity issues and Synology’s bad support team. Anything you guys can think of I’m missing? If you need me to be more specific, please let me know.
